Job Description
Job Title: D365 Finance Reporting Consultant (Contract)
Primary Location: Remote U.S. Position
Type: Contract (Short-term approx. 4-6 weeks - flex hours)
Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a D365 Finance Reporting Consultant. This is a short-term contract
role based remotely in the United States.
This position exists to provide immediate reporting support in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
(D365) due to high demand and limited partner capacity. The selected consultant will work directly with
the business to gather reporting requirements and build meaningful functional reports focusing on
financial dimensions and core financial data.
What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)
- Proven experience with D365 Finance & Operations reporting especially in the Finance module.
- Strong understanding of financial dimensions reporting hierarchies and D365 data structures.
- Ability to partner with business stakeholders to gather and interpret specifications for financial reports.
- Hands-on skills to design build and deliver financial reports independently.
- Experience working with Power BI Electronic Reporting (ER) and D365s Financial
- Reporting tool (formerly Management Reporter) is a plus.
- Previous consulting or contract work is highly desirable.
What Youll Do (Skills Used in this Position)
- Collaborate with business users to define reporting requirements.
- Translate requirements into technical report specifications and deliver reports using appropriate D365 tools.
- Focus on financial reporting and analysis leveraging financial dimensions and business unit structures.
- Assist with troubleshooting documentation and validation of delivered reports.
- Provide knowledge transfer and best practices guidance to internal teams.
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $65 - $95 per hour depending on experience and
qualifications. Depending on the employment arrangement this role may qualify for limited benefits.
