Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and Deploy AI Solutions: Design and implement reliable and high-
performing code for AI products that deliver measurable business impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with clinicians product managers and
software engineers to develop applied solutions from ideation to enterprise deployment
and scaling in real-world applications
Strive for Robustness: Systematically investigate statistical and algorithmic approaches
to attain the level of accuracy and explainability needed in healthcare applications
Drive Innovation: Identify evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies to
ensure optimal solutions aligned with business value.
Advance Research: Contribute through product innovations intellectual property
or published research that integrates cutting-edge advancements.
Foster Best Practices: Establish and uphold best practices in AI/ML including
rigorous testing validation and documentation.
Learn fast through hands-on rapid prototyping of 3rd party software both commercial
and Open Source and proprietary development

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Youre a fit for the role of AI Engineer & Applied Researcher if you have:
A Ph.D. or masters degree in computer science Artificial Intelligence or a related
science or engineering field is preferred; or a Bachelors degree with substantial
professional experience.
3 years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML systems in production.
Proven success in translating complex customer challenges into high-quality
impactful AI solutions.
Advanced understanding of large language models including best practices in
combining LLMs with search enhancing with domain-specific content and
evaluation.
Proficiency in software development encompassing version control testing and
CI/CD pipelines with demonstrated knowledge in cloud environments such as
AWS Azure and GCP.
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to convey complex
technical information to cross-functional stakeholders.
A results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering scalable maintainable and
impactful solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
The following is highly desired but not required:
Experience in healthcare
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Up to 10% travel might be needed
Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
