This role would specifically focus on the iconic Ford Mustang and Bronco products. Product DevelopmentFinance strategically partners with operations to drive outstanding business results and enhance Fords industry leadership. When you join us youll be able to contribute financial expertise that impacts all areas of our company including planning manufacturing marketing and product concepting/design.

This role is hybrid and requires at least 3 days per week in the Product Development Center in Dearborn MI.



Responsibilities

What youll do...

  • Provide Financial support for Ford Blue and Ford Pro vehicle programs by collaborating closely with PD Program Operating Teams Purchasing Engineering Manufacturing and Marketing.
  • Work with Purchasing Engineering and Cost Estimating to drive efficient Supplier Sourcing (Team of Four).
  • Support development of vehicle financial targets and track program performance vs. financial targets.
  • Provide financial support for vehicle milestone reporting cycle plan studies and profit improvement initiatives.
  • Develop milestone finance slides for incorporation for into vehicle approval papers.
  • Analyze data and provide ad-hoc support for business cases and special projects.
  • Build effective relationships with operating team members and develop analysis that supports informed decision making.
  • Continually test effectiveness of current processes amidst evolving company priorities and modify as necessary.


Qualifications

Youll have

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Economic or a related field of study (MBA preferred).

Even better you may have

  • Product Development Finance experience preferred
  • MBA Preferred (Finance Accounting or Economics)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including being comfortable presenting to Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel use of AI tools / Power BI to create process efficiencies
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to prioritize assignments multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Strong people skills ability to build relationships with operating partners

This position is a range of salary grades 5-8.
