Job Description
Our clients company is a leading provider of top-tier rigging cranes sectional barges winches wire rope and other essential rigging equipment. They specialize in delivering high-quality products and services to various industries including heavy manufacturing OEMs and marine operations.
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Outside Sales Representative to expand their business in key markets such as Portland the San Francisco Bay Area San Diego Arizona and beyond.
As a National Outside Sales Representative you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by developing strategic relationships and identifying new opportunities across multiple industries.
This role requires extensive travel with up to 80% of your time spent on the road engaging with clients and delivering tailored solutions that meet their rigging and lifting needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic business relationships in target markets including heavy manufacturing barge and OEM industries.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the client base and increase market share.
- Provide expert advice and solutions to clients on rigging cranes wire rope and related equipment.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our clients products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial sales preferably in rigging lifting machinery or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting customer needs and driving results.
- Willingness to travel extensively (75-80% of the time) across designated markets.
