Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This role requires a hands-on approach strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience with livestock care equipment operation and property upkeep at various locations.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in farming ranching or property maintenance.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining equipment and tools.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid drivers license (CDL preferred but not required).
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate or equivalency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Farm Operations:
- Care for livestock including feeding watering health monitoring and shelter maintenance.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment tractors and other machinery.
- Monitor farm supply inventory and coordinate purchases as needed.
- Maintain fencing barns and other farm structures.
Property Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance on buildings equipment and infrastructure.
- Handle landscaping duties including mowing tree trimming and weed control.
- Conduct minor repairs on plumbing electrical systems and general structures.
- Ensure the properties remain clean organized and functional.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or storm preparation.
- Additional duties as assigned
