Job Description
Job Title: Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: 28000 - 33000
Aztrum is delighted to be partnering with a dynamic award-winning architectural studio based in Chelmsford. Known for their expertise in delivering masterplanning and large-scale residential schemes this expanding practice is growing their head office team to support a strong pipeline of upcoming work. They are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Part 2 Architectural Assistant to contribute to the design and development of planning and technical workstreams for residential projects across the UK.
Key responsibilities for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
- Contribute to residential-led projects ranging in size and complexity.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive planning application packs.
- Develop creative and technically accurate design solutions based on client briefs.
- Produce visual layouts and annotated documents to articulate design ideas.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Engage with planning officers and clients throughout the South and East regions.
Key requirements for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
- RIBA Part 2 or equivalent qualification in Architecture.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a UK-based architectural practice with a focus on residential and masterplanning schemes.
- Demonstrated success in delivering UK housing developments for housebuilders land agents or developers.
- Comfortable working with local planning departments and private sector clients.
- Competent in AutoCAD Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and building regulations.
- Highly organised with strong graphic and communication skills.
- Collaborative design-focused and equipped with an impressive portfolio.
