Position Title: APS4 Program Support Officer
Employment Type: Labour Hire contract
Duration: Approx. 2 years
Location:
Barton ACT
Hourly Charge Rate: $52.15 $55.59 plus 12% superannuation
Security Clearance/Requirements: Baseline security clearance (must be held prior to commencement)
Working Arrangements: Regular international travel required

ABOUT THE ROLE
A Federal Government agency is seeking a skilled and organised Program Support Officer to assist in delivering an international program supporting enhanced security and integrity measures. This important project forms part of Australias international commitments and national security interests. The successful candidate will provide key support across the programs discovery planning and implementation phases assisting with project activities stakeholder engagement and administrative functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide project and administrative support including coordination of travel procurement recruitment reporting and stakeholder engagement
  • Prepare reports presentations meeting minutes and general communications
  • Assist geographically dispersed teams to deliver project outputs
  • Maintain accurate records and program artefacts
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work with attention to detail
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience providing program or project support including reporting and coordination
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail with strong writing and document preparation skills
  • Experience using document management systems (e.g. Content Manager)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills including risk awareness
  • Cultural awareness and ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must hold a Baseline security clearance prior to commencement
  • Willingness and ability to undertake international travel as required
