Summary
Responsible forallphasesoftheoperationofaircraftonassignedtripswith amajoremphasisonsafetyand Pilotfor atrip aTripLeadassumescommandresponsibilityfortheaircraftandcrewand isoperationallyresponsibletotheDirectorof Non-TripLead this Pilot isflyingtheaircraftorwhichpilotseat isoccupied.
- Works within WM Aviation Departmenttomaintain acultureofsafetywithefficientproceduresthat supportcustomerservice.
- Pilotstheaircraftreviewsemergencyproceduresandbriefspassengersregardingtheseprocedures.
- Ensurestheairworthinessoftheaircraft.
- Computesaircraftperformanceinaccordancetotheconditionsoftheflightandensureslimitationsarenotexceeded.
- Researchescurrentweatherconditionsalongwithforecaststrends noticestoairmenandTemporaryFlightRestrictionsforpointsofdeparturedestinationsandalternatesontherouteoftheflighttoensuresafety.
- CalculatesInstrumentFlightRules (IFR)fortheflightplansandfilesthemwiththe Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
- Operatestheaircraftaccordingtothecompany StandardOperatingProcedures.
- Ensuresthatallpilotaircraftandpassengerqualificationsanddocumentation iscurrentandmeetsregulationsforfederalandstateoperations.
- Addressespassengerneedssuchassecurityrequirementsgroundtransportationcateringandbaggage.
- Effectivelycollaborateandcontributewithin ateamenvironmenttoensuresmoothandsafeoperations.
- 4000totalhoursand 2000turbinehours
- 8yearsormoreyearsofpreviousexperience.
- FAA pilotcertificatewithcommercialinstrumentandaircraft-specifictyperatingsasappropriate.
- Englishproficient
- Validpassport
- Medical: Validcurrent FAA Class I MedicalCertificate
- Validautomobiledriverslicense
- BachelorsDegreeOrequivalent
