The vision of KLAs global human resources organization is to become a leader and partner to operating leadership in support of the companys efforts to achieve its strategic growth customer and operating objectives through strategic talent management. The global HR organization includes HR business partners learning and development talent acquisition compensation and benefits employee communications and HR system operations.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

This isa permanent positionin a global mobility team providing administrative supportprimarilywith EMEA Immigrationbut also in global immigrationinternational business travelers relocation international assignmentsand global mobility projects. The Specialist will report to the Director of Global Mobility in Corporate Legal Ann Arbor MI USA. In this hands-on role you will follow company procedures in initiating monitoring progress and tracking immigration cases and other miscellaneous global mobility projects. Develop and implement processes

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with Sr. Global Mobility Managersuppliers and other stakeholderson immigration relocation assignments transfer cases international business travel.
  • Partner with Director of Global Mobility External Counsel and internal stakeholders in developing documenting implementing and communicating new processes with the objective of having clear and well defined internal guidelines and processes
  • Initiating business travelers immigration assessments and monitoring global immigration cases primarily to Europe.
  • Initiating candidates immigration screenings requesting relocation estimate from supplier and review for accuracy
  • Working closely with outside immigration counsel on all work authorization and immigration cases to ensure timely processing and issue resolution.
  • Ensuring completion of documentation required for work visas in a timely manner
  • Proactively monitor the progress of immigration relocation transfers international assignment cases international business travelers and communicate with the appropriate stakeholder regarding the status of new visa petitions extensions green card related work and relocation
  • Monitoring the global immigration mailbox dealing with a high volume of very detailed and complex correspondence.
  • Tracking visas andprepare activity reports. Recordkeeping
  • Participating in meetings
  • Staying abreast of Global immigration updates and trends in order to benchmark and develop alternative solutions to immigration challenges
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards for all work performed
  • Provide backup support in other miscellaneous projects and tasks related to immigration relocation transfers international assignments and global mobility program

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Level Degree and 12 months of work experience in immigration
  • Previous administrative experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Knowledge of immigration regulations labor law and local legislation
  • Excellent knowledge of Word Excel
  • Excellent organizational problem solvingand administrative skills with good attention to detail
  • Ability to convey complex issues concisely and clearly to a wide range of people
  • Fluency in English and French are essential
