Job Description

Responsibilities

Lafayette LA

  1. Marketing Projects
    1. Assists in the creation and design of quality layouts for ads and collateral marketing material and works closely with the graphic designers to ensure work accurately reflects graphic standards and the ministry brand image.
    2. Serves as a copywriter and proofreader for various marketing materials which may include ads brochures collateral and online content.
    3. Participates in marketing events in the community and provides support to ensure the organization is represented appropriately.
    4. Establishes and maintains accurate and efficient job filing systems that contain photography information job order information project and campaign records and samples.
    5. Participates in all phases of applicable advertising by ensuring accurate product content and placement proofing work and coordinating with vendors assigned departments media buyer and the responsible marketing leader.
  2. Collaboration and Partnership
    1. Serves as a liaison to departments within the health system by attending meetings and aiding in the development of marketing strategy and materials. Coordinates service delivery and provides overall marketing/communication support between the department and departments within the health system.
    2. Participates as a member of the marketing team by offering creativity and idea-sharing for concept development and marketing strategy evaluation.
    3. Promotes the quality and efficiency of his/her own performance through participation in staff educations programs approved continuing education courses and specialized skill training programs. Participates in outside professional development organizations.
    4. Serves as a member of the crisis response team as needed providing communications support and other duties as required.
  3. All Other Duties As Assigned
    1. Strives to coordinate daily tasks in order to make the best use of time and takes into account the time constraints of others in performing those tasks.
    2. Respects at all times the confidentiality of employee and patients records and uses complete discretion when discussing employee and patient matters.
    3. Performs other duties as assigned or requested; consistently responds to requests.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Advertising Journalism or Public Relations or closely related field
  • Ability to manage complex projects multi-task and work with deadlines.
  • Must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule to work early morning evening and weekend events as needed
