Job Description
- Lead train and motivate a team of technicians detailers and support staff
- Develop and maintain efficient workflows to ensure timely reconditioning of vehicles
- Oversee quality control parts ordering inventory and vendor coordination
- Ensure all reconditioning meets company standards for safety appearance and value
- Collaborate with service sales and acquisitions teams to prioritize vehicle readiness
- Track performance metrics and manage department budget
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and internal policies
- Foster a positive productive and accountable work environment
- Proven leadership experience in automotive service body shop or recon operations
- Strong understanding of vehicle reconditioning processes and timelines
- Excellent organizational communication and team management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Working knowledge of reconditioning software/tools is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
