The Opportunity:
Bishop Spencer is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) that is passionate about patient care helping others and providing a superior quality of care! Bishop Spencer Place is Kansas Citys premier non-profit Life Care retirement community and a proud member of the Saint Lukes Health System. Located between Westport and the Plaza we offer our residents a special place to live and our employees a truly wonderful place to work.
The Shift: This is a full-time position: Monday-Friday (6:30 am to 7:00 pm) and alternating Saturday and Sunday (6:30 am to 7:00 pm).
Our CNAs partner with our licensed nursing staff to plan develop organize and carryout resident care plans. Duties include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities
- Providing resident care and reporting resident information/needs to charge nurse
- Answering resident calls and requests for assistance
- Serving food and beverages to ensure proper resident nutrition
- Assisting residents in mobility and transport activities
- Changing bed linens and ensuring a clean and hygienic living environment
