Azure AI Engineer

Position Description:

This position will be located in Pittsburgh PA and Strongsville OH

CGI is seeking a Senior Azure AI Engineer.
This candidate will work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in US and work in a challenging technical environment and gain exposure of advanced tools and technology suites.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design develop and deploy scalable web applications using Angular TypeScript JavaScript HTML and CSS within Azure environments.
Build responsive high-performance user interfaces for enterprise applications hosted on Azure ensuring optimal usability and cross-platform consistency.
Partner with software engineers DevOps teams product owners and architects to deliver Azure-based solutions aligned with business and technical goals.
Integrate with Azure-native services such as Azure Functions Azure API Management Azure Logic Apps and Cognitive Services including RESTful API consumption and JSON data manipulation.
Possess hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Git CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and development toolsets like Angular CLI JIRA and Confluence.
Fluent in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) with practical experience in backlog grooming sprint execution and delivering iterative cloud-based solutions.
Handle front-end testing (Jasmine Karma) and debugging in distributed Azure applications with a strong focus on application reliability and performance optimization.
Exhibit strong analytical skills to troubleshoot cloud application issues enhance system performance and implement durable maintainable solutions.
Produce high-quality technical documentation architectural diagrams and solution narratives for both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

8 Years in Web Application Engineering Proven experience developing and deploying enterprise-scale web applications with a strong emphasis on Azure cloud readiness scalability and security.
Front-End Development Expertise Deep proficiency in Angular TypeScript JavaScript HTML and CSS with a focus on delivering responsive performant user interfaces within cloud-native architectures.
API Integration & Data Handling in Azure Strong knowledge of working with RESTful APIs JSON data structures and state management libraries like NgRx and RxJS in distributed Azure-hosted applications.
UI/UX Optimization & Performance Engineering Skilled at diagnosing and resolving UI performance bottlenecks enhancing user experience and ensuring consistent maintainable front-end solutions in cloud environments.
Effective Communication & Team Collaboration Adept at communicating complex technical topics across cross-functional teams contributing to documentation architecture diagrams and stakeholder communications.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69700.00 - $154300.00.
