PROJECT COORDINATOR for luxury residential resort-style communities

About the Role

Our client a leader in high-end residential real estate development is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator to support ongoing luxury single-family home and resort-style residential construction projects. This position is vital to ensuring successful project execution from pre-construction through final delivery supporting Project Managers by handling scheduling documentation permitting budgeting and vendor coordination.

Job Title: Residential Development & Construction Project Coordinator
Location: Orange County CA
Compensation: $80000 base salary performance bonus benefits
Industry: Luxury Residential & Resort-Style Development
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in the coordination and execution of luxury residential and resort-style developments

  • Maintain and update project schedules monitor timelines and track critical milestones

  • Organize and manage project documentation including permits contracts compliance reports and municipal filings

  • Act as a communication hub between contractors vendors consultants and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly

  • Track project budgets review vendor contracts process change orders and monitor expenditures

  • Support Board and stakeholder presentations including preparing agendas reports and meeting minutes

  • Identify project risks flag bottlenecks and assist with proactive problem-solving and issue resolution

  • Attend project meetings and job walks coordinating offsite tasks and vendor site visits as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination construction management or real estate development

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and time management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel MS Project and accounting/project management software (e.g. Sage or similar tools)

  • Experience with budgeting permitting and contract administration is highly preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Real Estate Business or related field preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Must attend offsite meetings and visit vendor or project locations regularly

  • Must possess a valid drivers license or secure reliable transportation to project-related sites

  • Candidates using personal vehicles must provide proof of insurance and may be subject to a DMV record check

  • Employment subject to pre-employment background check and drug screening

  • Participation in E-Verify is required
