The Global Merchant and Network Services Technology (GMNST) organization at American Express is responsible for modernizing the payments network to enable next-generation payments products. The team creates flexible merchant platforms to acquire bill pay service and foster innovation while enabling a payments ecosystem to connect and authenticate parties seamlessly and securely

American Express is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for the Global Network technology team. This role leverages technical knowledge to drive delivery of multi-disciplinary programs across technical regulatory and business requirements--from beginning to end. Translates business objectives into execution strategy. Anticipates tracks and resolves risks dependencies and impediments to project delivery.
How will you make an impact in this role
The Senior Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing the teams capacity as they contribute to capabilities to improve operations and product features across the portfolio as well as ensuring that delivery requirements timelines dependencies and risks are clearly communicated to all stakeholders. This position works closely with product owners architects engineers and quality assurance across multiple scrum teams and products acting as a single point of contact for the team and assisting in generating new partnerships / consulting engagements.
