A Day in the Life:
Supervises PQA semi-direct personnel to conduct initial investigation and containment actions for quality concerns by utilizing the PQA Concern Handling Report (CHR)
Reviews and issues Part Inspection Reports (PIR) to suppliers to investigate and countermeasure quality concerns according to Plant-to-Plant Quality Protocols for International Logistics Networks (ILNs) and Master Purchase Agreements for domestic suppliers.
Validates claim replies (8D reporting) from suppliers to ensure root cause identification and proper countermeasures implementation using Alliance New Product Quality Procedure (ANPQP)
Monitors and Controls Claim Lead time using the Claim Control Sheet to guarantee that suppliers follow deadlines.
Determine the proper quality tool needed at suppliers in case of quality concerns and undertake PQA resources to support the suppliers successful implementation of the selected tool.
Identify parts defects and resolve them using 7QC problem-solving tools to control DPHU target achievement.
Prepares and presents daily PQA reports and PQA topics using the one-page report to share daily updates to plant management.
Prepares monthly Part Per Million (PPM) & Supplier Score Card (SSC) reports for Local & CKD parts.
Ensures that the needs of our customers are met through investigating 3-MIS warranty claims related to local parts and imported parts with our overseas suppliers & R&D network to establish root cause as a reaction to a part quality problem whilst supporting cross functional team activities to ensure immediate temporary and prevention actions taken within standard lead time.
Organizes regular meetings with overseas suppliers to make positive improvements to enhance part quality reduce concern investigation time and to support implementation of robust countermeasures.
Audit Supplier Plants and Processes using standard Auditing tools to ensure compliance with Nissan Requirements
Who Were Looking for:
Bachelor of Science in Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree
3-4 years of experience in a quality assurance or engineering automotive-related role
Knowledge of Production Control Plan (PCP) Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Gauge Repeatability/ Reproducibility (Gauge R&R)
Good knowledge of standards such as ISOIATF-16949
