Job Title: Telecom Drop Crew Technician
Location: Kentucky (Various Regions)
Job Type: Full-time / Contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Telecom Drop Crews to join our team in Kentucky. This role involves installing and maintaining aerial and underground telecommunications drop systems ensuring reliable service for residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain fiber optic and copper drop cables for telecommunications services.
- Perform aerial and underground drop installations including trenching and conduit placement.
- Splice and terminate fiber optic and copper cables as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures related to equipment and job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with crew members supervisors and customers.
- Complete job site documentation and reports as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in fiber optic splicing and telecommunications installation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and proper installation techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
