Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS)
FT 8AM-8:30PM
PRN/PT

Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) is a free service that provides immediate help for youth aged 20 and under who are experiencing overwhelming mental emotional or behavioral distress ortrauma that is impacting their ability to function within their family school or community.
With MRSS a team of trained professionals will respond within 60 minutes of being called to a young persons home school or any other location in the community. The MRSS team helps calm the situation by offering immediate de-escalation ensuring everyone is safe and creating a plan for comprehensive wraparound care with up to 42 days of ongoing support.
No issue is too large or too small. If it feels like a crisis to the youth or their family MRSS is available to help.
MHS is currently hiring a Primary Therapist for a MRSS team. This position is a full-time 36-hour per week position. Hours are 8AM-8:30PM.
- Part-Time & PRN Positions also available.
Qualified candidates must have:
Education/Experience
- Bachelors Degree in social work counseling or related field (Required)
- Masters Degree Social Work counseling or related field or Ph.D./Psy.D in (preferred)
- Experience with mental/behavioral health and /or SUD/dual diagnosis (preferred)
Licensure/Certifications
- Valid Ohio licensure (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC/MFT/IMFT)
- NVCI
- CPR/First Aid
- You MUST have a valid Ohio drivers license with an insurable clean driving abstract.
MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff along with on-going education and on-the-job training opportunities.
All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI/FBI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years or for working with children) and a 5-panel drug screen upon conditional offer of employment.Residential candidates must have a 2-step TB or evidence of a TB test done previously and in good standing.
