Overview
The Librarian plays a crucial role in the provision of information resources and services supporting the educational and informational needs of the community. Based in Odisha this position is essential in bridging the knowledge gap across diverse demographics ensuring the availability of quality literature educational materials and technology. The Librarian will be responsible for managing library operations developing collections and providing superior customer service to library patrons. This role includes curating and organizing resources conducting research assistance and promoting various library programs and events. Food and accommodations will be provided for the selected candidate making this an attractive opportunity for individuals passionate about fostering a love for reading and learning.
JOb Location - Keonjhar Odisha (Food and Accommodations Provided)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day library operations and resource management.
- Develop and curate library collections tailored to community needs.
- Assist patrons in locating and utilizing information/resources.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new patrons on library services.
- Implement and promote library programs events and resources.
- Catalog and classify library materials using established systems.
- Maintain an organized library environment and information retrieval systems.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Library Science or Information Studies.
- Experience working in a library or information center.
