Job Description
Zone Mechanical is looking for a Senior Accountant:
Since 2001 Zone Mechanicala Smart Care Company has served Northern Illinois and Northwestern Indiana with expert technicians who offer installation service sales and preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment. Zone Mechanical is also a leader in the service installation and engineering of CO2 refrigeration systems.
We have experts for each stage of your refrigeration project from designing a system to building and maintaining it including project management from beginning to end.

What You Will Do:
- Set up Wage Garnishments in QB
- Remit Wage Garnishment Payments
- Remit Payroll taxes to IRS
- Attend New Payroll Service Meetings
- Record 401k & HSA weekly Contributions
- Setup Users for Expense Reporting
- Process expense reports
- Process payroll for Zone and Precision
- Process EOM union reporting for Zone and Precision submit monthly hours to safety
- EOM Journal Entries
- EOM Service Accrual and previous month Service Accrual Audit
- Bank Recs
- Audit Support and Compliance
- W9s Compliance
- Subcontractor COIs Compliance
- Complete & submit Credit Apps for new vendors
- Reconcile VISA
- Reconcile Payroll Liability Accts
- Misc Journal Entries
- Payroll Entry
- Variance Analysis
- Balance Sheet Recs
- Sales Tax submittal
- Chicago Tax - once a year
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance
No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills
High level of accuracy and detail oriented.
Ability to manage ad hoc projects in addition to routine duties
Demonstrate ability to prioritize and deliver results within time constraints
Experience or knowledge in ERP systems
An accounting or finance certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
