Responsible for administering the operations of computer systems related to Windows operating systems and MAC OS
Responsible for setting up configuring maintaining and supporting end user computing environment operation of computer systems (Windows and MAC OS) PC servers mobile collaboration solutions Cloud technologies used by employees in the organization.
Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions and resolve as tier 2. Collaborate with other IT domains and non-IT stakeholders to provide the required level of service and incident resolution using service management system. Provide E2E face to face on site support or at IT walk in centers local or remote ensure timely resolution or escalation.
Create positive customer support experience and build strong relationships through problem understanding communicating promptly on progress and handling customers with a professional attitude.
Comply with and implement HW SW and Security policies
Manage relationships/ complex support issues with relevant end user computing vendors for hardware and software needs
Provide support to seniors and executive population for critical and sensitive support issues to set all VC/collaboration solutions equipment setup and operating optimally for town halls offsites and board meetings.
Participate in POCs and global projects testing of new generation End User Computing technologies such as desktops laptops screens thin clients collaboration solutions meeting rooms and mobile including technologies such as Augmented reality IOT
Create and maintain knowledge articles for HW and technologies topics
Manage or participate in Root Cause Analysis Lessons Learned and prevention processes to meet high standard deliverables and ensure company methodology is followed where relevant
Maintain disaster recovery operations and maintain storage back-ups were applicable.
Perform asset management and tracking activities such as inventory control receiving allocating retrieval and tagging
Maintain site Server/Network room infrastructure and work with relevant service owners as local IT in small site
Backup Remote support call center during periods of high calls occasionally
B.A/. in computer science / Electronics / IT.
3-5 years of hands-on IT end-user computing experience in an Enterprise environment
Knowledge of hardware administration (Physical servers Enclosures).
Basic knowledge of storage and networking.
Basic knowledge of VMware and Citrix virtualization technologies.
Any of the platform certifications such as: A MCP MCSE ITIL
