Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair VFD control boards and electronic components down to the circuit level.
  • Assist repair technicians in diagnosing and solving recurring board issues.
  • Develop and improve testing and repair methods for electronic systems.
  • Perform advanced soldering (through-hole and surface mount) and component replacement.
  • Use diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters oscilloscopes DC power supplies and thermal imaging cameras.
  • Support equipment breakdown assembly and testing in the shop and in the field.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and reverse-engineer circuits as needed.
  • Maintain a clean organized and professional repair environment.

Qualifications:

  • Formal degree preferred (Electrical Engineering or related) but not required with equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Proven experience with PCB-level diagnostics and component-level repairs.
  • Strong soldering skills (surface mount and through-hole).
  • Working knowledge of integrated circuits and electrical component testing.
  • VFD repair experience is highly desirable.
  • Prior work in the Oil & Gas sector is a plus.
