Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer Power Electronics Test & Validation
Location: Newark CA 94560
Duration: 4 Months

Job Description:
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and control.
- Review schematic PCB designs calculation and simulation of power electronics converters.
- Conduct the verification and validation tests for power electronics systems ensuring compliance with industry and requirements.
- Strong hands-on and trouble-shooting skills in testing and verifications of power electronics systems including the use of lab equipment (battery simulators power supplies E-loads scope etc.).
- Capability to analysis the root-cause of the power electronics system and drive R&D activities independently.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
Preferred qualifications:
- M. S degree in Electrical Engineering Power Electronics or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in power electronics development and testing.
- Solid understanding power electronics fundamentals.
- Knowledge of automotive requirements.
Typical Day in the Role:
- Purpose of the Team: The Power Electronics & Test Validation team is looking for an Electrical Engineer specifically with Power Electronics for EV and renewable energy expertise.
Candidate Requirements:
- Years of Experience Required: 5 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: M. S degree in Electrical Engineering Power Electronics or a related field preferred.
- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain all preferred skills.
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and quality of work.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience:
- Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and control.
- Minimum 5 years experience with Strong hands-on and trouble-shooting skills in testing and verifications of power electronics systems including the use of lab equipment (battery simulators power supplies E-loads scope etc.).
- Minimum 5 years experience with Strong technical writing and communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
