Banyan Global is seeking the services of a full-time seasoned Project Manager adept at coordinating and managing evaluations related to export promotion and/or foreign assistance broadly. The Project Manager should be based in the Washington DC USA area have U.S. citizenship prior USTDA evaluation experience.

This role is contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning execution and quality assurance of evaluations for USTDA-funded activities and projects.
  • Supervise evaluation analysts ensuring methodological rigor adherence to timelines and policies and clarity and quality of deliverables.
  • Coordinate data collection efforts and oversee the production of reports case studies and impact summaries.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the contractor team and USTDA staff.
  • Provide regular progress updates and adapt project timelines or scopes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and quality assurance of delivery.
  • Contribute strategic insights to help enhance the effectiveness of USTDAs M&E framework.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and/or authorized to work or admitted for permanent residence in the United States.
  • Must be located in the Washington DC USA area.
  • Demonstrated track record successfully designing coordinating and conducting program evaluations in emerging markets. Prior experience conducting USTDA evaluations is highly preferred.
  • Bachelors degree and five (5) years of relevant experience in project management and program evaluation OR Masters degree and three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise coordinating or implementing evaluations of program activities events trainings technical assistance and/or pilots in any of the following regions: Indo-Pacific; Latin America and the Caribbean; Middle East North Africa Europe and Eurasia; and/or Sub-Saharan Africa across any or several of the following sectors: transportation energy telecommunications water and natural resources sectors services manufacturing agribusiness and health sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection; large-scale infrastructure project development; development assistance orforeign assistance; export promotion; and/or promoting private sector involvement ininfrastructure project development preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing the preparation of formal reports in English.
  • Strong organizational leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams.
  • English language skills . Spanish Portuguese and/or French language skills are strongly preferred.
