Job Description
Job Summary:Create a positive engaging learning environment for young students. Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with standards monitor student progress and collaborate with families and staff to support student Responsibilities:Plan and teach standards-based lessonUse Science of Reading strategies for literacy instructionAssess student progress and adjust instruction as neededBuild a safe respectful and organized classroomCommunicate regularly with familiesWork collaboratively with colleagues and support staffRefer students to support services (ESL Special Education G/T etc.)Participate in curriculum planning and school initiativesAdditional Expectations:Follow district policies and state guidelinesMaintain accurate records and reportsAttend meetings and serve on committees as neededSupport district goals and student safety
