Job Description

Summary:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for positively shaping employee experience maintaining accurate records and executing programs events and other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Greet visitors; respond to inquiries courteously and promptly escalating as appropriate to provide quality customer service.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and orientation providing new hires a warm and engaging introduction to university culture.
  • Facilitate and process various HR transactions ensuring records are maintained and secured in accordance with university policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate programs training meetings and events including facilities catering etc.
  • Generate standard reports and audit records to support tracking key HR metrics compliance requirements and employee data.
  • Oversee and mentor student employees.
  • Maintain professional appearance of the Employee Services office.
  • Provide administrative support contribute to team effort by executing special projects and complete other duties as assigned.

Required knowledge skills and abilities

  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all employee related matters.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and other computer systems.

Minimum qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Bachelors preferred).
  • One year of HR experience preferred.

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
