Archbishop Curley High School invites applications for the position of Director of Alumni for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Director of Alumni reports to the Vice-President for Advancement and is delegated to exercise specific responsibilities related to alumni outreach and the Alumni Association. This position is suited for a creative self-starter who can manage multiple tasks. It requires one to work collaboratively with school personnel and volunteers to drive the alumni relations program. The Alumni Director will also serve as the liaison to the Alumni Association and manage events and coordinate communication with constituents. The Alumni Director must be available to work some evenings and weekends.
Essential Functions
- Reports to the Vice-President of Advancement but works with all key members of the school community including advancement office staff and volunteers administration faculty students and members of the School Board.
- Serves as the liaison to the Alumni Association.
- Serves as a non-voting member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors attends all Alumni Board meetings and assists the Association President in facilitating the meetings.
- Maintains the Alumni Association financial records and coordinates payment of Alumni Association bills.
- Oversee the execution of the various activities and events of the Alumni Association.
- Assists with other events that are Alumni related such as Career Day and the golf tournament.
- Create Initiatives Around:
- Increasing Alumni participation/attendance at events
- Capturing/Updating contact information for alumni
- Class Captain program
- Young Alumni outreach
- Assists with the development of Alumni mailings and postings.
- Handles Alumni inquiries.
- Contributes to the Curley Magazine.
- As a member of the Advancement Office assists the School President and Vice President for Advancement with the planning and implementation of the Annual Fund campaign.
- Assist in Advancement programs/special projects as needed including capital campaigns.
- Provide the School President and Vice president for Advancement with the names of alumni who have the potential to support Curley and assist with the cultivation of these prospects.
- Along with the Advancement Administrative Assistant help maintain the alumni and alumni parent database.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Experience with marketing and fundraising.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and the ability to problem solve
- A passion for working with people and building community
- Experience with social media as well as the use of various technology platforms
- A desire to embrace the values of a Franciscan education and the Curley community
Pay Range: $55000 - $70000 Annualized
