Job Description

SR. EXPORT COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST TCRS4482

HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Sr. Export Compliance Specialist will be responsible for export licensing ECCN classification denied party screening and will provide subject matter expert guidance on export control and sanctions laws and regulations to support global business operations.

This role is essential for implementing compliant export processes and ensuring regulatory adherence.

This is a hybrid position for candidates near Dallas TX or Greensboro NC.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Maintain compliance with ITAR EAR BIS and other relevant trade regulations
  • Ensure accurate ECCN & USML classification is assigned and maintained
  • Prepare and submit export licenses as required by government regulating agencies
  • Manage End Use Certificates process
  • Monitor export license progress and interface with licensing officers to respond to inquiries
  • Develop and implement license control plans and ensure authorizations are managed compliantly
  • Assist with transactional denied party screening and conduct due diligence reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide export compliance guidance and training
  • Create and maintain policies procedures and work instructions to support global trade compliance
  • Leverage strong data and analytical skills to support key decisions and process improvements
  • Conduct audit and risk assessments

ESSENTIALS

  • Understanding of export regulations particularly for semiconductors or microelectronics
  • 5-7 years experience in trade compliance preferably with a defense or firearms manufacturer
  • Experience SAP GTS and denied party screening applications
  • Strong attention to detail critical thinking skills and ability to manage multiple fast paced projects
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen legal permanent resident refugee/asylee) required.
