The Manufacturing/Process Engineer II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing day to day technical support and driving complex root cause investigations for the instrument manufacturing product lines including the assembly and final test processes to drive quality and on-time delivery for our customers.
This position is part of the Manufacturing Operation located in Miami Florida and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Manufacturing Engineering Team and report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager responsible for providing technical support to the manufacturing lines of Beckman Coulters premier Diagnostics products. In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Lead in solving technical issues and delays in production by driving to root cause through design of experiments and working cross functionally with other teams in the organization.
Develop and implement new or enhance existing manufacturing methods techniques processes and tooling on fabricated parts components subassemblies and final products.
Coordinate the implementation of changes due to process changes product enhancements/revisions and new product launches to ensure smooth transition to production floor.
Participate in Kaizen and process improvements events using the Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors degree with 2 years experience or a masters degree with 0 years of experience (Engineering degrees in mechanical electrical and industrial preferred)
Experience in interpreting and creating technical drawings/schematics.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Regulated Industries (e.g. FDA ISO)
Bilingual in Spanish
