Job Description
ASSYST is seeking a Jr. Power Platform Developer to support our client in Austin Texas.
The Jr. Power Platform Developer is responsible for developing and supporting custom business solutions using Microsofts Power Platform suite including Power Apps Power Automate Power BI and Power Virtual Agents. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low-code/no-code development a strong analytical mindset and a passion for solving real-world business problems through automation and data insights.
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Job Location: Austin TX ( Fully Remote )

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Applications: Build and maintain custom business apps using Power Apps tailored to stakeholder requirements.
- Automate Workflows: Design implement and manage process automations using Power Automate to improve efficiency.
- Data Visualization: Create dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
- Integration: Integrate Power Platform tools with Microsoft services (e.g. SharePoint Teams) and third-party systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather refine and implement technical requirements.
- Support & Training: Provide user support troubleshoot issues and deliver end-user training for developed solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools: Power Apps Power Automate Power BI and Power Virtual Agents.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Strong problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with basic data modeling DAX and Power Query is a plus.
- Ability to document processes workflows and technical specifications clearly.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Azure services APIs or custom connectors
- Microsoft Power Platform or related certifications
- Knowledge of agile project methodologies
