Job Description
Details:
We have an immediate need for a CNC Machinist for a top motorsports company.
Responsible for setting up operating and manufacturing components using CNC.
The qualified candidate will have 3 years of experience with CNC machining centers mills or lathes. Experience with Fanuc controllers required. Strong understanding and experience with close tolerance machining. Comprehensive knowledge of machine setup procedures. Experience generating technical and summary reports and interpreting inspection reports.
- Ability to effectively interface with multiple departments and personality types.
- Good verbal and written communication ability.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision as well as in collaboration.
- Ability to effectively plan projects and deliver outcomes that meet tight deadlines and quality standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel Power Point and Word.
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
Details:
- 3 years of experience using MasterCam software CNC codes.
- Able to read engineering drawings 3D models and/or written specifications.
- Experience with 3 4 and 5 axis machining methods and fixture design required.
- Full 5-axis programming not required but a plus.
- Experience with CNC mills and CNC lathes with live tooling.
- Experience with Vericut and Mazatrol is a plus.
- Must understand and be able to interpret drawing GD&T.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools.
$25 - $45/hr. DOE
