Job Description
STV is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager Communications Aviation to support one of our PM/CM clients in Houston TX. This position is designated to be onsite 5 days/week. This role will work closely to develop implement and manage communication efforts that align with organizational goals as well as other assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to develop communications ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Write edit and design original content for internal updates event collateral and stakeholder presentations
- Assist in maintaining a consistent flow of communication on project status updates both internally and externally
- Maintain and update internal communications assets such as graphic and photo libraries
- Other assignments as needed
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- 46 years of experience in communications preferably within the Aviation and/or Construction industry
- Demonstrates a strong understanding communication strategies and principles
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with leadership teams and handling sensitive projects with discretion
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Creative thinker with experience in storytelling and content creation
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Outlook Excel) and SharePoint
- Desired experience in Adobe Creative Cloud especially InDesign
- Experience in presentation design and visual storytelling
- Familiarity with AI tools for enhancing communication is a plus
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Communications or a related fieldor equivalent experience
Compensation Range:
