Job Description
Job Title: Business Marketing Teacher
Reports To:Principal
Contracted Days:190
Job Summary:The Business Marketing Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging standards-based instruction inbusiness marketing and related career pathways to high school students. The teacher will preparestudents with practical skills in business operations entrepreneurship marketing strategies digitalcommunication and financial literacy. This position supports college and career readiness through real-world applications project-based learning and potential career/technical student organization (CTSO)
involvement such as FBLA.
Essential Duties:
Teach business and marketing courses aligned with Arkansas state standards and district curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that are engaging relevant and differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
Provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as entrepreneurshipbusiness management digital marketing advertising branding and financial literacy.
Utilize a variety of instructional methods and technology tools to support diverse learning styles and enhance student engagement.
Promote problem-solving critical thinking and collaboration through individual and group projects.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance; assess learning using both formative and summative assessments.
Support students with IEPs 504s ELL G/T and other learning needs through appropriate modificationsand accommodations.
Create a positive safe and orderly classroom environment that supports learning and studentdevelopment.
Participate in the development and leadership of CTSO activities (e.g. FBLA) competitions or career-readiness events.
Engage with the local business community to explore guest speakers internship opportunities or real-world project partnerships.
Communicate regularly with students parents and staff to foster strong school-home connections.
Attend and participate in faculty meetings school activities and professional development as required.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan instruction align assessments and support student success.
Uphold district policies and professional expectations; participate in school-wide initiatives
