Position Overview

STOWE Early Learning Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Start Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing inclusive and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the growth of the whole childsocially emotionally physically and cognitively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging standards-based lesson plans.
  • Foster a safe inclusive and culturally responsive classroom environment.
  • Use developmentally appropriate practices to support childrens learning through play exploration and hands-on experiences.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and observations to individualize instruction and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with families support staff and community partners to promote family engagement and student success.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Head Start and district guidelines.
