Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop new diagnostic procedure for new and existing electronic boards.
  • Solder and remove components while repairing PCB electronics boards (through-hole and Surface mount)
  • Board level Diagnostic using facility testing equipment to aid troubleshooting; digital multimeter (fluke) oscilloscope variable DC power supply thermal camera.
  • Maintain repair facility and equipment ensuring the best practices for quality troubleshooting/repair is conducted.
  • Willing to assist with unit testing and commissioning in the facility and in the field.
  • Read and comprehend detailed electrical schematics
  • Electrical and circuit theory.

Qualifications:

  • ETA Basic Electronics Certifications or at least 2 years experience as a board repair technician
  • Advanced soldering skills required
  • VFD drive experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience repairing boards in the Oil & Gas industry preferred.
