Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment (CNaP)

**What Youll Do:**

As part of a collaborative dedicated team of Psychology Associates you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of clinical activities including working with our team of approximately 25 clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists contribute to pioneering research projects that advance the fields of psychology and medicine and improve patient outcomes and support families of children with a wide range of neurodevelopmental disabilities. Common presenting concerns include difficulties with attention disruptive behavior socio-emotional and academic challenges as well as complex medical conditions including pediatric epilepsy cancer acquired brain injury and congenital conditions. Patients range in age from birth through young adulthood.

Clinical activities:
Administer and score a variety of assessments available in English and Spanish that evaluate multiple domains of cognitive neuropsychological and social/emotional functioning and academic achievement.
Engage across our clinics including the executive functioning (EF) emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD) congenital and genetic disorders epilepsy and brain injury pathways to young adulthood and development and early learning (DEL) clinics.
Assist in triage of referred patients and in preparation of insurance pre-authorization documentation for testing.
Assist with maintenance of our clinical database.
Participate in department committees and workgroups such as quality improvement and patient access initiatives.

Research activities:
Administer and score neuro/psychological assessments in English and Spanish to youth and families participating in funded research projects across the Institute.
Opportunities to co-author manuscripts and poster presentations.
Opportunities to attend research conferences and clinical research trainings.

**What Were Looking For:**

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to evidence-based practices who has a genuine passion for working with children and families and can work effectively in a collaborative fast-paced environment. Experience working with children and Spanish language fluency are necessary. Experience working with neurodevelopmental differences (physical and/or developmental) and knowledge of behavior management strategies is strongly encouraged. This position requires the incumbent to be bilingual in English and Spanish with a proficiency level that meets the Institutes minimum standards.

Education:
MA/MS in psychology from an accredited college or university required.
Eligible to practice as a Psychology Associate per the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists requirements. Registration as a Psychology Associate in the state of Maryland must be obtained prior to start date.
At least one year of clinical experience which may be satisfied by a supervised practicum experience during the educational program for the masters degree.
Courses in testing required.
