Duties:
Under the general supervision of the Student Development Coordinator of Kipuka Native
Hawaiian Student Center provides direct academic career and financial aid advising for Native Hawaiian returning and transfer students in consultation with relevant units in the UH Hilo Division of Student Affairs.
Outreach to and collaborate with academic and support programs at UH Hilo and UH System Community Colleges in support of transfer students.
Conduct coordinate and evaluate student success and development workshops and activities.
Oversee and maintain data collection for student participants.
Hire train supervise and evaluate peer mentors to assist implementation of programs and activities.
Work in multiple work settings and maintain a variable work schedule as required.
Other duties as assigned.
