Job Description
This is a remote position.
We seek a highly skilled and creative Video Editor with advanced expertise in DaVinci Resolve to join our growing brand team. This role involves editing video content for a finance company and a personal business brand. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Brand Manager and Graphic Designer to deliver engaging high-quality videos for social media internal training and podcast production.
- Edit and produce weekly social media videos across both the corporate and personal brands.
- Edit a video podcast series and create related short-form social content.
- Create engaging clips from externally produced footage featuring the company or CEO.
- Produce feature videos highlighting major company or personal milestones and achievements.
- Edit specialized content for significant company events media appearances or key announcements.
- Occasionally assist in the editing of internal training videos (minimal).
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in DaVinci Resolve for video editing.
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating strong editing work particularly for social media or podcast content.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Access to high-speed internet and a reliable editing workstation.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite particularly:
- Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Lightroom
