Job Description
Our client is a top-rated marine service center in Charleston with a long-standing reputation for craftsmanship safety and white-glove customer care. They specialize in outboard diagnostics electrical systems rigging and full engine rebuilds for high-performance center consoles and luxury vessels.
They re looking for a Marine Service Technician with strong mechanical and diagnostic experience especially with Yamaha Mercury or Suzuki outboards.
What You ll Do:
Diagnose and repair outboard engines trim/tilt systems fuel and electrical issues
Perform pre-season checks sea trials winterizations and repowers
Work with service writers to keep customers informed and satisfied
Maintain clean organized shop space and uphold strict safety standards
What You Bring:
2 5 years of experience working with marine engines and boat systems
Knowledge of engine diagnostics and manufacturer service protocols
Ability to work independently and maintain strong documentation
ABYC certification or OEM training preferred
