Job Description
- Proactively adhere to all safety standards and established protocols.
- Plan and coordinate department activities to fulfill production requirements ensuring on time delivery.
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings and diagrams; interpret geometric tolerancing.
- Set-up lay out fit and fabricate structural forms using welding techniques metallurgy and engineering requirements.
- Perform TIG and/or MIG welding of Steel Stainless Steel Hastelloy Inconel and Aluminum passing Helium Leak check.
- Deburr sand parts after weld as required.
- Ensure strict adherence to company manufacturing standards methods and policies meeting established quality requirements.
- Perform housekeeping tasks and basic upkeep to maintain a clean and orderly workstation caring for equipment and tools.
- High School graduate or equivalent with Vocational/Trade School/Military training in welding.
- 1-3 years of related Welding experience.
- Current welding certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules operating and maintenance instructions blueprints and procedure manuals.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to use math skills to solve problems.
- Must possess excellent knowledge of geometric tolerances as related to part and fixture design.
- Must have effective communication skills and ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent knowledge of the tools equipment materials methods and standard practices of the trade.
- Computer literate.
- Work well independently and within a team to coordinate efforts with colleagues.
- Effectively manage time; complete tasks as required.
