Who could you be at GHD

In Tasmania our Geotechnical Engineering team is on the lookout for our next graduate in 2026! Based out of our Hobart office and with a degree in Civil Engineering your interest in getting out into the field on a wide variety of projects throughout Tasmania and beyond will serve you in good stead in this position.

A little more about the role can be found below:

  • Work outside on site-based geotechnical investigations around Tasmania including collaborating with our Contamination Geophysics and Hydrogeology teams
  • Work in the office planning co-ordinating and reporting on those investigations
  • Develop geotechnical models based on literature reviews and investigation results
  • Collaborate with other GHD teams to contribute to the development of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
  • Utilise software and tools to perform analysis and modelling
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports drawings and specifications
  • Stay updated with industry standards best practices and emerging trends
