The Specialty Staff Instructor supports the professional growth and development of staff across the organization. This role works under general supervision to develop educational resources identify evidence-based guidelines and review various aspects of education and development.
Responsibilities
Supports the design implementation and evaluation of educational programs and initiatives to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare team members. Assists in assessing learning needs and coordinating orientation programs for new staff. Conducts ongoing evaluation of specialty education programs to identify areas for improvement. Provides individualized coaching and mentorship to staff to promote professional growth. Facilitates the dissemination of new research findings and regulatory updates to keep staff informed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelors degree
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 5 years experience in the assigned specialty area. 2 years experience with adult education designing and delivering training curriculum.
