Work Location: Vancouver British Columbia; on-site
Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday Friday; business hours
Engagement Model: Employment; fixed-term/temporary
DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for aLanguage Data Annotatorwith fluency in English to join our team in Vancouver! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence and technology.
This role requires a high level of independence adaptation and accuracy love of attention to detail will help to succeed in this role!
Role Summary:
The Language Data Annotator will analyze data in the language in question and identify potential issues. This data will be used to develop and improve the speech recognition capabilities of Artificial Intelligence systems
No previous experience or training in the field is required - we will teach you all you need to know.
Role Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of project coordination (scheduling sourcing testing and management of creating transcripts)
Analyzing data in the Language Data Analysts native language
Classification and labeling information
Meet daily Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) as defined by management/supervisor
Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
May occasionally view some sensitive content
Job requirements
Excellent listening writing and spelling skills in English
Eligible to work in Canada
Must be of legal age (18)
Located within a reasonable commuting distance to our Vancouver office
Good reading and comprehension skills in English. Ability to understand guidelines in English
Ability to meet daily quality standards
Attention to detail
Flexibility ability to adapt and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently
Ability to track analyze and report issues
Good oral and written communication skills
Problem-solving abilities
Excellent time management
Minimum bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
