The Role

As the Associate Director Valuation & Counterparty Oversight you willwork closely to support the Director(s) in Valuation & Counterparty Oversight team.

This role will have you;

  • Provide insights and leadership to internal projects and systems development as a subject matter expert in areas of valuation counterparty management and trading oversight
  • Model and analyse a range of valuation counterparty risk and trading metrics for all IFM Investors products as directed by the Head of Investment Risk & Execution Oversight.
  • Provide specialist knowledge and inputs around the Valuation and Counterparty Analytics of new and existing products including modelling and integrating new asset and products (portfolios of assets).
  • Prepare and present as required on the analysis work above. This may include both written and oral reports and in both formal and informal settings.
  • Support the team to ensure continued uplift of the teams technical and soft skills.
  • Identification of emerging risks trends and developments in the support environment and implement solutions.
  • Ensure complete accurate and timely delivery of information and reports to the business and committees as required

Your Background and Experience

You bring experience in a senior role working across one or more of the following areas; direct investing and investment decision making portfolio management financial trading investment risk management investment performance analytics.

This experience would be gained while servicing/supporting institutional investors at an Asset Owner/Investor Funds Management Organisation Banking/Broking/Consulting business within the financial services industry.

You have proven experience working with large amounts of data with strong attention to detail required Ideally you also bring a global perspective and this has been enhanced with international experience.

To be successful you are inquisitive you are curios and you have the ability to leader and create an inclusive environment. Your role will have you working independently so your ability to build relationships internally will be key to your success.
