Job Description

We are looking for a VP to join our eFX Trading Team in London.

Profile Summary

  • Launch extend and maintain eFX trading function
  • Back-up local voice traders absence as a sub role
  • Contribute to business promotion in local eFX space

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage eFX trading function
    1. Control risk parameters on eFX platform(skewing/liquidating/monetising)
    2. Strengthen eFX infrastructures
    3. Monitor status of price provisions
    4. Monitor hit ratio reject ratio
    5. Analyse performance (market impact profitability client)
    6. Report P&L and market risk exposures to H/O and ETD management
    7. Build and maintain relationship with liquidity providers and system vendors.
    8. Manage administration settings on the platform
    9. Alternate London and New York shift at set intervals
  • Perform voice trading as a back-up of local traders absence in an equivalent level by providing competitive pricing and maximising profits.
  • Provide eFX solution to expand local forex business by collaborating with local eFX desk.
  • To contribute to develop and promote FX business in line with Mizuho FGs strategies (PJ REX)
  • Help improve the trading and risk systems: either or by contributing to the development of new pricing tools models developing new risks or P&L reports using OT or giving regular feedback and ideas on how to improve them.

Qualifications Skills and Experience

  • Well-developed and up-to-date knowledge of eFX business (essential).
  • Financial control and risk management skills utilising eFX platform (essential).
  • Understanding of applicable regulations and internal policies (essential).
  • Communication skills with correspondents in relevant department offices(essential)
  • Project management and system development skills(essential)
  • Broad knowledge of treasury products and business
  • Contributing to team effort
  • Establishing service strategy
  • Delivering continuous service improvement
  • Developing product and service solutions
  • Collaborating
  • Achievement of personal objectives as agreed with management of GMTD and ETD
