Job Description
Location: Hay River Princess Alexandra School
Divisional Region: The South Slave Divisional Education Council is looking for a positive and committed educator capable and willing to work collaboratively and embrace the implementation of three key priorities in the South Slave schools and classrooms: literacy numeracy and social responsibility.
Position:
Teachers (1.0 FTE) - term for the 2025/26 school year
Specialization: Elementary School - Physical Education
Start date - August 25th 2025 - June 26th 2026
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education
- Experience working with students with complex needs socio-emotional regulation behavioural challenges.
- Familiarity with trauma informed care and working in Indigenous communities
- Familiarity with Balanced literacy approaches
