Job Description
Plateau GRP is seeking a highly skilled System Test Engineer to support mission-critical operations for the United States Air Force. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and offers the opportunity to contribute to national defense by ensuring the reliability and performance of complex systems through rigorous testing and analysis.
Location: The position will be remote with the requirement to be onsite for planning activities and client meetings with prior notice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in system testing and analysis.
- Provide analytical support for process improvement specialized studies and requirements definition.
- Develop and execute test plans procedures and documentation for various testing phases including:
- Unit Testing
- Integration Testing
- Functional Testing
- End-to-End Testing
- Conduct both manual and automated testing of software systems.
- Analyze and test RESTful APIs including sending and receiving data.
- Perform testing in cloud-based environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system operability and compliance with project standards.
- Support integration into DoD DevSecOps environments (desired).
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of recent and relevant experience in system testing and documentation.
- 3 years of experience with bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
- 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful interface testing.
- Experience testing in cloud environments (e.g. AWS Azure or similar).
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working within DoD DevSecOps environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
