At the College of Western Idaho (CWI) you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where problem-solving and innovation are valued and your contributions directly enhance the institutions efficiency.
Must possess a valid Idaho journeyman electrician license.
Demonstrated journey-level experience in electrical maintenance installation and troubleshooting.
In-depth understanding of electrical theory applicable codes (including NEC) and safety regulations.
Proficient in the use of electrical tools diagnostic equipment and maintenance software.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for diagnosing and addressing electrical issues.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with colleagues contractors and vendors.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds climb ladders work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks in various environmental conditions.
Must possess a valid drivers license and be insurable under the Colleges vehicle use policy.
*Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the hiring manager. All candidates must reside within or be willing to relocate to a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
