Reports to: Regional Finance Manager

Position Role: Responsible for the organization coordination and operation of the accounting department based on tax costing and accounting requirements.

• Organize and coordinate all accounting & tax activities and period closings prepare and ensure accuracy of financial statements and related reports
• Review month-end and year end closing procedures including review of journal entries reconciliations of accounts and monitoring of assets and liabilities
• Collaborate with colleagues of different Groups departments in Greece and abroad to ensure efficient workflow and achievement of deliverables
• Monitor compliance with tax regulations for all transactions bookings and records and ensure that effective controls are in place. Proactively identifying topics of interest and communicating to manager along with potential range of solutions
• Manage financial audits and audit deliverables
• Review day to day operation of Accounting Department managing developing and coaching the members of their team
• Contribute to the organizations efficiency proposing and managing best practices improvements and controls

• Bachelors degree in in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 10 years working experience on Accounting sector and the last 3 years in managerial positions
• In force Class A professional License by Economic Chamber of Greece
• Knowledge of SAP / Ohm / JDE / Galaxy would be considered as a strong asset
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
