Chef (Full-Time) Busy Bees at Narre Warren South
Location: Narre Warren VIC
Licensed Capacity: 102 places
Hourly Rate: $29.89 (Support Worker 3.1)
At Busy Bees at Narre Warren South we know that great nutrition supports great learning. Were looking for a passionate and organised Chef to join our Hive and help us provide healthy delicious meals to the children in our care.
About the Role
As our Centre Chef you will:
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 05
Create weekly menus that meet dietary and cultural needs aligned with Nutrition Australia guidelines
Maintain a clean safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Manage food orders inventory and stock rotation efficiently
Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and Educators to support childrens wellbeing
What Youll Need
To be successful in this role youll need:
Certificate in Commercial Cookery or relevant food handling qualification
Experience working in a childcare environment (preferred)
Working with Children Check (Employee) VIC
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Understanding of allergies intolerances and safe food practices
Strong time management and organisational skills
